We found a great video from Michael Gray where he approaches the Duplicate Content issue and how to build a healthy Site Structure.

Having a healthy Site Structure will include avoiding any duplicate content issues . When the same content is displayed under different URL’s, we would say that the Site is having duplicate content issues which is one of the reasons why many pages of a Site don’t show up in search engine results. For example when the same article in a Blog is displayed under different categories:

Whether you are starting your own Website or you already have it online, there are some SEO practices that you should absolutely avoid at all costs in 2007, what probably worked in the past may not be working today. Many of these techniques can directly lead to your site being banned from the major search engines, as per their Terms of Service.

Aaron Walls’ Free Guide to Learn SEO at Work.com

Aaron Walls is a leading search engine optimization expert and one who is highly regarded within the Industry; he’s probably one of the most well known SEO on the Internet today. He is a well recognized blogger, book author:SEO Book, consultant, and webmaster. He owns and/or partners in building high quality websites that are monetized via Adsense (Google’s Ads Program), affiliate programs, and/or direct sales.

A Broader Look at Search Engine Optimization.

When I first started at the Internet a couple years ago, I was doing link exchange; that was my first glance at the SEO World.  Back then link exchange was a regular practice; it was a great way to build link popularity, every body was trying to get as many links as possible and building spammy Titles and meta-tags (descriptions and keywords), that was the perfect formula to achieve good rankings on any Search Engine.

Today SEO is more than that; we need to have a broader perspective, in order to be able to achieve good results.

I found a great resource; it’s an Advanced SEO Beginner’s Guide from Todd Malicoat.  He points out that SEO is more than just understanding how to make titles and meta-tags. It’s about having the capacity to assemble all its components “to create a site that will produce any legitimate traffic without detriment to conversions or without venturing into areas that in certain circumstances would risk any project”.
