I found a great article at seomoz.org, about Google’s Ranking Factors, it’s a must read. Top SEO Practitioners like Aaron Walls, Bill Slawski, Jill Whalen, Michael Gray, Danny Sullivan, and others voted on the factors they estimate are the most important used on Google’s Ranking Algorithm to determine the placement of a web site in the search engine result pages (SERP’s) when an Internet user is doing a specific search. Google’s Ranking Algorithm is the mathematical formula they use to calculate which results to display and that are most suitable to the searcher query.
Ranking factors are attributes present in a Web page and are used to tell Search Engines what the web page is about and by which search engines determine the importance of a Website based on the website’s relevance and related keywords…

Site:www.xxxx.com
Supplemental Index: Pages are located in Google’s supplemental index when they are having certain issues with Google guidelines.
If you see a result like this:
www.xxxx.com/xxxx/ – 77k – Supplemental Result – , this means your blog’s pages are being put in Google’s supplemental index.

Personalized Search Results is a new trend in Google, they are going to use all the information they can get from the way each person navigates the web, to display personalized search results, which means in a way that Google will display different results to each individual according to its search preferences.
As mentioned by Danny Sullivan of Search Engine Land: “Personalized search is now the default and none too easy to escape from either through opt-out. This means that every search result you click, every link you bookmark, every RSS feed you subscribe to using Google services can be used to improve your personal search results.”
